2020 has been a year like no other. For many couples was the year they were going to get married. But suddenly the world stopped. Covid hit and changed all of our plans. Shortages of hand sanitizer and toilet paper were in nobody’s mind for 2020. What we thought was going to be a few weeks of quarantine, turned out to be months of lock down. Stay at home orders and restrictions wiped out all kinds of gatherings and events. The wedding industry experienced massive cancellations and postponements. All the planning, investment and hard work that goes into putting a wedding together went into a sudden halt. Nobody saw it coming. Unfortunately for our couples, they are force to change their plans. But luckily, you can still get marry during Covid. Some couples have opt to postpone their weddings until 2021. Others more eager to tie the knot choose to elope. If you were going to marry this year and postponing or eloping are not optional for you, consider a micro-wedding. A wedding but in a smaller scale. A more intimate and personal celebration with a small amount of guests. You can still have a nice venue, officiant, flowers, cake, photographer and rentals. You can also find a venue covid compliant that will work with the amount of guess you plan to invite. With so many changes in 2020, micro-weddings have become very popular among couples. Talk to your planner and see if she or he offers any packages for micro-weddings. Chances are that your planner is already hosting this type of event. Some venues also offer packages for small celebrations. Remember, Covid is here, but doesn’t mean you can’t celebrate your love in a beautiful setting. We can work with it. It is totally possibly to have an intimate celebration that you would absolutely adore and remember for the rest of your life.
